Are you an LGBTQ+ leader in your community and want to expand your leadership and activism? Join LGBTQ+ Victory Institute for our FREE half-day LGBTQ+ Public Leadership Summit. Our program guides participants on the initial steps of running for office and channeling their political power. With the support of local LGBTQ+ Elected Officials and organizational partners, the Summit is a first step for LGBTQ+ people who may want to run for office or help other LGBTQ+ people become political leaders.
Participants walk away with a strong understanding of how to take the first steps to run for office, gain exposure to LGBTQ+ leadership in-action, and make connections to other local LGBTQ+ leaders, including conversations with local LGBTQ+ Elected Officials.

What to Expect at a Summit
Each LGBTQ+ Public Leadership Summit is tailored to the local political environment and participants are provided networking opportunities and the tools needed to become more politically involved. A sample curriculum includes:
- A “Campaign 101” and overview of entry points into the political process;
- A review of considerations and paths to running for office;
- Conversation on the challenges and successes of out LGBTQ+ leadership with local Elected Officials;
- A networking reception for all program attendees and presenters
