Engaging the Network
2022 LGBTQ Elected Officials Quarterly Convenings
Victory Institute will provide programming each quarter in 2022 to the 1,000+ network of openly LGBTQ Elected Officials through its “LGBTQ Elected Officials Quarterly Convenings.”
These hour-long, virtual quarterly convenings have been designed to provide the network with an opportunity to further build community, share best practices among one another, and engage in relevant topics that are aimed to further support the work of openly LGBTQ Elected Officials. The convenings will include a blend of networking, Institute program updates, and a relevant and timely issue.

The four “Convenings” will lead up to the Elected Officials Summit in Washington, DC as part of the International LGBTQ Leaders Conference (November 30 – December 3, 2022).
2021 LGBTQ Elected Officials Quarterly Convenings
Victory Institute provided programming each quarter in 2021 to the 970+ network of openly LGBTQ Elected Officials through its inaugural “LGBTQ Elected Officials Quarterly Convenings.”

In a powerful display of unity in the face of relentless attacks on trans kids, 27 LGBTQ state legislators across 19 states committed to introducing legislation to create trans refuge states. These laws would shield trans kids and their families from penalties when seeking gender-affirming care.
