A follow-up to the When We Run report – published in September 2023 – The Experiences of LGBTQ+ Women Candidates focuses on the challenges faced by LGBTQ+ women respondents. Among the 474 respondents of the When We Run survey – which included LGBTQ+ candidates in the U.S. who ran campaigns between 2018 and 2022 – this report brief focuses on the 147 women surveyed.
