North Carolina Court of Appeals Judge John Arrowood was inducted into the LGBTQ+ Political Hall of Fame on December 7, 2024 at LGBTQ+ Victory Institute’s International LGBTQ+ Leaders Conference in Washington, DC.
Judge John Arrowood of North Carolina is the first out LGBTQ+ statewide official in the South and serves on the North Carolina State Court of Appeals. Before his appointment, he served as a Special Superior Court Judge and clerked for North Carolina Court of Appeals Judge Gerald Arnold.
