Our team just wrapped up our very successful Western LGBTQ+ Candidate & Campaign Training in Phoenix! We had some incredible participants in this program. Below are some brief highlights (and photos) from the weekend:
Participants:
- 32 participants from across the country representing 12 states;
- 47% people of color;
- 31% participants of marginalized gender experience;
- 22% transgender, nonbinary, gender nonconforming, intersex, or Two-Spirit;
- 47% of participants are CURRENTLY running a campaign; 53% are seriously considering running in the next 2 years.
