Our team just wrapped up a very successful Candidate & Campaign Training in Detroit! We had some incredible participants in this program. Below are some brief highlights (and photos) from the weekend:

- 37 participants from across the country;
- 37% people of color;
- 45% participants of marginalized experience;
- 35% transgender, nonbinary, gender nonconforming, intersex, or Two-Spirit;
- 18% of participants are CURRENTLY running their campaign; 62% are seriously considering running in the next 2 years.

For the training, we partnered with Equality Michigan, Great Lakes Political Academy, LGBT Detroit and Unity Fund MI, who sent folks to our reception and supported us with recruitment.
