Our team just wrapped up our very successful Southern LGBTQ+ Candidate & Campaign Training in Charlotte! We had some incredible participants in this program. Below are some brief highlights (and photos) from the weekend:
Participants:
- 36 participants from across the country representing 18 states;
- 31% people of color;
- 47% participants of marginalized gender experience;
- 27% transgender, nonbinary, gender nonconforming, intersex, or Two-Spirit;
- 27% of participants are CURRENTLY running a campaign; 55% are seriously considering running in the next 2 years.
