Seth Schermer

Seth Schermer is the Chief Operating Officer & Chief Development Officer at LGBTQ+ Victory Fund and LGBTQ+ Victory Institute. Seth has spent his career advancing organizations that focus on equality, access, and social justice issues. Prior to joining Victory, Seth was Vice President of Philanthropy for the U.S. Soccer Foundation, where they oversaw the organization’s fundraising, marketing and communications programs. During this time he successfully worked to diversify and increase institutional funding resources and helped raise the visibility of the Foundation, its programs and impact. Seth served as Senior Director of The Optical Society Foundation (OSA Foundation) where they focused on the international advancement of youth science education and support of career development opportunities for graduate students living in developing nations. Seth also worked at the American Association for Justice (AAJ) as its Director of Development. In this role, he oversaw the major gifts, political and PAC fundraising programs.
