Philanthropist and Activist

Nancy Katz is a philanthropist and activist living in Santa Fe, NM with her wife, Margo Dichtelmiller.  Prior to moving to New Mexico in 2016, she was a leader in the LGBT community in Southeastern Michigan.  She served on the Board of Directors of Affirmations, Southeastern Michigan’s LGBT community Center, including as President and Co-Chair of a $5 million capital campaign.  In addition, Nancy was on fundraising committees for several Michigan organizations, including the ACLU of Michigan, Equality Michigan, and the HOPE Fund, the LGBT fund of the Community Foundation of Southeastern Michigan.

Nancy graduated from Oberlin College and the University of Michigan Law School.  She worked for the Pepper Hamilton law firm in Detroit, Michigan, and subsequently became Deputy General Counsel of ANR Pipeline Company, a natural gas pipeline company in Detroit.
