LGBTQ Victory Institute was founded on a simple principle: government works best when LGBTQ leaders are in the rooms where decisions are being made. Over the last three decades, we’ve trained generations of LGBTQ folks who decided to run for office in their communities.
American voters must elect 28,116 more out LGBTQ officials before our community is fairly represented across the government. That means we need LGBTQ people EVERYWHERE to consider running for office so we can finally level the playing field and further safeguard our rights. We are the only national organization dedicated to elevating openly LGBTQ leaders who can further equality at all levels of government. Through our training and professional development programs, each year Victory Institute assists hundreds of individuals who go on to influential careers in politics, government, business and advocacy. Many of our trainees join the more than 1,000 openly LGBTQ elected and appointed officials now serving around the world.
