In 2018, the nation experienced the “Rainbow Wave,” an unprecedented number of LGBTQ+ candidates who won elected office. The 2019 Out for America report—the third annual analysis of LGBTQ+ elected representation released by LGBTQ+ Victory Institute—documents this new political landscape.
