Washington, DC – Today, LGBTQ+ Victory Institute — a national organization dedicated to increasing LGBTQ+ representation in government – announced new board leadership. Lynn Greer – who is one of the founding board chairs of LGBTQ+ Victory Fund – is Victory Institute’s new board chair. Howard Pulchin-Ramos, a public relations executive, is Victory Institute’s new board treasurer.
Victory Institute’s Board of Directors also welcomed two new members, Ellen Farrell and Brian Maloney. The new leaders and members will serve two-year terms.
Mayor Annise Parker, president & CEO of LGBTQ+ Victory Institute, issued the following statement:
“Simply put, Victory would not exist without Lynn Greer. Our community is grateful for the years of service she’s dedicated to the cause of increasing LGBTQ+ representation in public office. Nobody understands the urgency of this issue better than Lynn, and I’m confident she’ll be the strong leader Victory Institute needs as we expand our work around the globe in 2024. I have deep appreciation for Lynn, Howard and all of our board members for volunteering their time and talents to help increase LGBTQ+ representation.”
