Asia Corwin is the newest Victory Congressional Fellow named by LGBTQ+ Victory Institute.
This competitive 10-month fellowship brings one outstanding young LGBTQ+ professional to Capitol Hill to work in the Congressional Equality Caucus, supporting the Executive Director of the Caucus. As a fellow, Asia will also participate in a leadership development program that explores the policy-making process, includes our Candidate & Campaign Training, and dives into the pressing issues facing the LGBTQ+ community. Her fellowship began in September 2025 and will end in June 2026. Read more about Asia below:
Asia Corwin is a recent Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of New Mexico’s Business Finance Program with a minor in political science. Asia is passionate about public service and advocacy, having worked in both the New Mexico state legislature to expand transgender-inclusive language and on Capitol Hill as an intern for their district representative. Last year, they were a grassroots organizer for the Harris-Walz campaign, working on the ground in the battleground states of North Carolina and Pennsylvania. They plan to continue their commitment to public service by pursuing a career as a civil rights attorney in the future. They are excited to add their voice and dedication to the Congressional Equality Caucus this year as the LGBTQ+ Victory Institute’s newest fellow.
