Do you think LGBTQI+ political participation starts and stops with an election cycle? Neither do we!
Less than a year off of a historic Colombian territorial election cycle in October 2023, which registered over 201 out LGBTQI+ candidates, LGBTQ+ Victory Institute’s Global Program will head back to Bogotá this summer to continue building LGBTQI+ political leadership and participation.
From July 29 to July 31, our LGBTQI+ Political Leadership Training Program will bring together 15 LGBTQI+ political leaders to connect with each other and elected officials. This program will also provide trainees the necessary tools to continue building advocacy, cybersecurity, negotiation and policymaking skills to serve them in carrying out their role.
