Nicole Duritz is AARP’s Government Affairs Director of Family and Caregiving , where she leads efforts to advance policies that support America’s family caregivers. With more than 25 years of experience in nonprofit leadership, communications, and advocacy, Nicole has developed award-winning campaigns that engage the public and influence policymakers.

Before rejoining AARP, she directed programs and outreach for the Medical Society Consortium on Climate and Health and led public affairs initiatives at Physicians for Fair Coverage. Over her nearly two decades at AARP, Nicole has been a key voice on health security, caregiving, and long-term care issues that impact millions of families nationwide.
