Jeffrey Person has been working on campaigns since 2003 when he volunteered his time on the Dean for America presidential campaign. In 2006, Jeffrey went to work as a Field Volunteer for Jim Webb for Senate. In 2008, Jeffrey dedicated his time as a volunteer for Obama for America where he was instrumental in getting out the vote in both Pennsylvania and Virginia.

Jeffrey attended Edinboro University of Pennsylvania where he graduated with a Political Science bachelor’s degree in May 2013. After graduation, Jeffrey landed a job the Virginia House Democratic Caucus as a Field Organizer where his teams knocked on over 34,000 doors. In 2014, Jeffrey joined Virginia Victory 2014 and helped win a hotly contested race and re-elected Senator Mark Warner to the United States Senate.

In 2016, Jeffrey moved to Michigan and worked on a congressional campaign where his efforts helped increase voter turnout by 3%. After the election of Donald Trump, Jeffrey knew that the fight continued and he had to double down and work harder. Jeffrey returned to work in Northern Virginia to manage a Virginia state house primary with a $50,000 budget. In Fall 2017, Jeffrey managed a successful city Council campaign and won by 800 votes. In 2020, Jeffrey worked as a digital fundraiser and raised $100,000 in digital ad campaigns for a variety of democratic candidates. In 2021, Jeff worked at Polity Fundraising & Strategies during the 2022 primary season where he helped prepare the principals for call time. In June 2022, he switched over to Sterling Strategies where he finished the cycle as a Call Time Manager.

Jeffrey was a Joe Biden delegate from Virginia to the 2020 Democratic National Convention. The Falls Church City Council appointed Jeffrey to the Human Services Advisory Council where uses his expertise on disability services and policy in Falls Church City to advocate change. Jeffrey spends his free time staying up to date on local, state, national and international news and trends and he likes to travel whenever he can.

Jeffrey launched Blue Commonwealth Strategies, LLC in March 2023, a full scale political consulting  shop. He also launched Able Dems PAC, a PAC to get Democrats with disabilities elected to office.
