Dr. Yvette C. Burton is an author, award-winning behavioral data scientist, and business strategist specializing in the next generation of work solutions. She is the founding CEO of Silent Partner Solutions LLC, a global business strategist and talent management and innovation workforce futurist with 20+ years of global experience architecturing global work-based leadership programs and top team effectiveness in a high growth virtual environment, and helping companies harness dynamic people capabilities that are unique to market and hard for competitors to imitate.

As a strategy advisor and business development executive at Ernst and Young, Deloitte, IBM, and Lockheed Martin, Dr. Burton has implemented agile human capital strategies for inclusive, cross-sector business innovation and aggressive growth. Her multidisciplinary expertise includes a portfolio of projects in the media, consumer, industrial product, financial, public and defense sectors.

She is a Professor of Practice Emeritus and inaugural Academic Director for Columbia University’s School of Professional Studies, and developed the university’s first Master of Science program in human capital management.

Featured in Craine’s New York Business 2020 Notable LGBTQ Leaders and Executives, Dr. Burton was the only American woman to win the Hamdan bin Mohammed Award for Innovation in Project Management (HBMAIPM) for her use of predictive analytic simulations as a way to design agility into the adult programs, curriculums, and industry partnerships necessary to align learning experience with dynamic workforce landscapes.

Business transformation, workforce and business performance expert, Yvette has provided testimony to the Senate’s Department of Homeland Security on the Federal adoption of Domestic Partnership Benefits for the Federal workforce, and policy consultant for work-based learning solutions to advance the US Foreign Policy mission.

In January 2021, Dr. Burton launched New York University’s School of Professional Studies Business Certificate Program in DEI Innovation Strategies, and serves as a serial social entrepreneur and social capital investor for breakthrough early stage start-ups. A native of New York City, she resides in Manhattan with her wife Patricia and three spoiled fur babies.
